BioSomeone once described me as a "hipster." I think he was smoking crack^H^H^H^H^H^Hmistaken. I am not a trendsetter. I was always the kid with cooties.
I like to think of myself as a perky pessimist. Doom, gloom, despair, and - OOH! Cookies! I'm a geek, an introvert, a quirky pop-culture junkie, a klutz, a frustrated medievalist, and a country girl happily transplanted to the city.
At the moment, I am a library school student. Someday, I plan to be an academic librarian - either rare books and special collections or systems. (Not much to do with one another, I know.) For now, I plan to avoid being flattened by crazed Red Sox fans outside my apartment in Fenway.
